Who We Are

The Laura Ellen and Robert Muglia Family Foundation was formed in 2000 in Seattle, Washington. Powered by their belief in human potential and the awareness of how access to education and technology had shaped their own lives, Laura Ellen and Bob began funding programs in their hometown. Over the last 25 years, the Muglia Family Foundation has funded nearly 40 organizations and given away more than $15,000,000 to help communities thrive across the globe. From funding the local children’s hospital in Seattle, to supporting women entrepreneurs in Africa; the Muglia Family Foundation is passionate about catalyzing lasting and transformational change.

Reflecting on the Foundation’s last 25 years, the Muglia Family Foundation is entering a new chapter. We are ramping up our giving and growing operationally and programmatically to support that. Our passion for empowering transformation and encouraging innovation will guide us as we expand our partnerships and impact in the coming years.
